CareyThinking: May 2022

The CareyThinking blog began in 2008 as a series of posts about visual art and cultural issues for an arts organization in Seattle, Washington, and has evolved into my home base for writing about a range of topics (art, education, culture, politics) and as the point of contact for my non-profit consulting work, CareyThinking LLC. My career and interests have spanned -- from non-profit work, grant writing, teaching, training, program evaluation and social research (PhD in Urban Education,Temple University 2015) -- and I am also a visual artist. I offer small creative non-profits in the Philadelphia region consulting services on the development of robust program assessment models, the creation of effective education program content and training models, and on Board work to develop grounded, ethical, and engaged strategic plans for their organizations.
